The new regulation on vocational training for cooks has been in force since September 2022. How much sustainability is enshrined in the ordinance, how is it taught, and what competencies do the young professionals acquire during their training? What additional training and professional development can young chefs take to meet the growing demand for plant-based diets? VKD e.V. is involved with a plant-based project in the vocational schools and thus supports the implementation of the training content in practice and will provide answers to these questions in this webtalk.

At the Food Campus Berlin, we have developed four strategic fields of action for a transformation in the sense of the Planetary Health Diet. We see a strong lever for "Profitable Planetary Health Solutions" in particular in the intersections between the individual fields of action. We call this "cross-cluster thinking" and want to develop solutions in precisely these intersections at the Food Campus Summit 2023 with experts from all four fields of action.

The Farm Food Climate Festival brings together people who want to shape the agriculture and food industry of tomorrow. We as Food Campus Berlin will be on site with Lia as moderator and will host a workshop. Networking is a top priority at this event, because everyone comes together at the FFCF, from farmers and network partners to (local and federal) politicians and relevant players in the agricultural and food sector.
